What is AEF2025?
The ASEAN Universities Exhibition & Forum (AEF2025) is a regional academic networking event that connects higher education institutions, policymakers, and students from ASEAN member countries. This two-day event aims to strengthen educational ties, promote student exchanges, and discuss the latest trends in global education. With over 5,000 participants and 90 exhibitors, the forum became a melting pot of ideas, opportunities, and future academic collaborations.
Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education, YB Dato’ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, officiated the event, which concluded with remarks from Deputy Minister YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud.

- More than 90 universities showcased their programs, scholarships, and research opportunities.
- Representatives from institutions across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, and Timor-Leste
- Students and educators explored potential Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) and Agreements (MoA) to enhance academic exchange.
