Siam University Coordinators visited Helsinki Metropolia University, Asia exchange, Oulu University in Finland.
06th June 2014 – Dr. ThanavadeeBoonlue and Ms. YhingSawheny had a meeting with Ms. ArjaHannukainen, Head of International Relations and with Ms. TerhiTopi, International Coordinator, Business School, HelsinkiMetropolia University of Applied Sciences.
This discussion was to further strengthen our relationship with their Business School. We had a good discussion and concluded with few good students for exchange for new upcoming semesters. 07th June 2014 – Meeting with our current Finnish Student, Mr. Jesse, our BBA International program student, he was very pleased and nice to share his visions and thoughts about the program as well as he would involve in Student’s Engagement program.
08th June 2014 – We traveled to Tempera to have a meeting with Asia Exchange our Partner. It was a great Sunday, had a good luncheon discussion with good number of new European students intake for undergraduate and graduate program of MBA. Students from Europe, Germany, Finland, and Sweden are really interested in joiningour new semester. This meeting was a good deal to strengthen our strong ties with our partner.
09th June 2014 – We traveled to visit Oulu University of Applied Sciences. The meeting was very fruitful and informative we had met the following members
Dr. (Mrs.) Päivi VESALA, Director of School of Business and Information Management, Mr. Allan PERTTUNEN, Head of International Affairs of Oulu UAS and
Mr. Jyrki HOLAPPA, Head of Degree Programme in International Business, International Co-ordinator, School of Business and Information Management.
During this visit, the new theme that we learn was the 3D Virtual Laboratory CAVE (Cave Automatic Virtual Environment) by Mr. Jussi KANGASOJA, Research Scientist, Project Manager. And also theOamk Business Kitchen, presented by Mr. Terho JYLHÄLEHTO, Senior Lecturer, Project Manager, which is the project of School of Business with a very Innovative way of projecting and winning the Business Models. In the afternoon we got the opportunity to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Student Exchange Agreement with Dr. (Mr.) Jouko PAASO, President of Oulu UAS. The President was kind and very pleased to offer us standing invitation for next visit to Oulu and to spend more time along with a great vision to have successful and meaningful collaboration among students and faculty exchange for research.
