Siam University celebrated UN International Day of Peace and Ceasefire across the world on 19th September 2014.
Around 60 International students joined this celebration to commemorate this event at Siam University Garden of Peace, 19th Building at 16.00 p.m. This event was organized since 21st September 2010; the establishment of Siam University Master of Arts in Peace studies and Diplomacy, MAPD and this is consecutively the 5th year the event has been organized.
During this event, Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit, President of Siam University, addressed the Peace message to all and one of our alumni and assistant to the President Mr. Michael Slater addressed the Peace message from H.E. Ban Ki Moon, Secretary General of United Nations to all the audience. The slogan and theme of this event “We all have a Right to Peace” was sung by Nursing students and Birds were set free and let gone, to stop all Slavery. Siam University ISMAP students, Myanmar , Cambodia and India addressed there own mother tongue language the Peace Message. This celebration was joyfully ended with Dinner and group picture at Siam Pillar of Peace, Peace Garden.
