“Siam University Volunteers for Phasicharoen Community Project” was open by Prof.Dr.Chanita Rakpollamuang, vice president for academic development affairs on 21st April 2018, simultaneously launched by universities all over the country, according to the resolution of University Presidents Network Conference to launch the project for volunteer students from every university for the benefits of the nearby community.
The activities of S.U. student volunteers comprise return clean and clear-up Bangjak Canal after waste dredging to Mr. Somcheep Chaiyakett, director of Phasicharoen District Office, community representative; environmental conservation such as garbage recycling, production of organic fertilizers, health care by nursing students. These are S.U. volunteer students’ commitments to our nearby community which will lead to the lifelong sustainable development.
