On 20th March 2015, Siam University official Mr. Komdech and Md Jahidul Islam attended seminar on “Librarianship and Academic Libraries in the Digital Environment an Experience of Japan”. Professor Dr. Mitsuhiro Oda was the chief guest speaker from library and information studies, Aoyama Gakuin University, Japan. The seminar was held discussing the major areas of promoting the use of library and librarianship in Japan. Mahidol University “Library and Information Center” organized the program for gathering knowledge about the liberties in Japan and readers attitudes towards library. Honorable guest speaker presented the research paper demonstrates the usage of library in the digital world and the role of Government to promote the readers implementing innovative strategies.
