The Delegates from Elite Study, Taiwan had been visited Siam University on April 1, 2015. This is a return visit paid by Siam University Delegation. The visiting Delegates from Taiwan were taken round Siam University campus from the central Library, IT room and other places during the inspection period that capped their visit.
On the 27th and the 28th of March 2015, a delegate from Siam University also visited Ming Chuan University Taiwan. Part of the purpose of this visit was to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Ming Chuan University and Siam University. Prior to the signing of this MOU, there was good partnership between two great Institutes of learning albeit not an official partnership.
When this MOU takes effect, there will be an increased cooperation and collaboration between Siam University and Ming Chuan University especially in relation to information sharing and exchange of educational resources. Cooperation is better enhanced when there is a considerable understanding between the two Universities. The visit of the Delegation to Ming Chuan has reflected this new understanding that exists between two Universities.
Siam University had in the past made frantic efforts at getting the full collaboration of Ming Chuan University which had largely been a success. These efforts were shown in commitments and contributions made by Siam University during the recently celebrated 58th year anniversary of Ming Chuan University on March 11, 2015.
The Delegation led by Siam University President who had extended a short visit to Chung Yuan Christian University Taiwan. The visit to this University by the Delegation was also targeted at achieving business management collaboration between Chung Yuan and Siam. Some of the Taiwanese Universities were staunch members of Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB). Siam University is yet to be an official member of this association through accreditation.
Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) is channeled towards fulfilling its vision by collaborating fully with the member Universities. Its vision is the advancement of quality management education through accreditation, leadership and value added services. Siam University has stepped up efforts towards becoming an important institutional figure in AACSB. However, it will be more important that Siam University align with these Universities who are already full members to achieve their goal.
