Visa Information

Visa Department

International students are responsible for maintaining valid immigration status throughout their studies in Thailand. Siam University can assist with university documents and institutional procedures, but final requirements and decisions are determined by the Royal Thai Government, Thai embassies and consulates, and the Immigration Bureau.

Immigration rules and document requirements may change. Students should confirm current requirements before applying, travelling, extending a visa, or leaving Thailand.

Before traveling to Thailand

Obtain the appropriate Non-Immigrant Education visa where required.

Use the official Thai E-Visa service or contact the relevant Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate.

Prepare the university acceptance and supporting documents requested for your application.

**The official Thai E-Visa site is operated by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and includes the online application process and studying-visa category.

**If you plan to travel outside of Thailand during your stay, a multi-entry visa can be purchased on arrival**

Before Arrival

Complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card where required.

Keep copies of your passport, visa confirmation, university acceptance documents, and accommodation information.

The official TDAC guide states that non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must submit the digital arrival information within the permitted three-day arrival window.

**THE  TDAC IS NOT THE VISA**

During Your Studies

The Immigration Bureau provides an official online guide for 90-day notification and says online requests should be submitted within the applicable advance period.
